LCHS Volleyball Takes 3rd In Tournament Saturday

The Labette County High School volleyball team competed in a tournament Saturday that featured 2 ranked volleyball teams in Burlington and Independence. The Lady Grizzlies came away with a 3rd place finish.

“The top two teams had 4 losses between them and over 60 wins.  Even though we would’ve liked to have knocked Burlington and Indy off, we feel good that we finished strongly with a good win over Wellsville.  Our kids battled against Burlington and we had them worried, until too many costly errors hurt us at the end.” said LCHS volleyball coach Heather Wilson.
