1.What are your individual and team goals this year?

I just want to get the most out of my last season at Girard. As a team, we would like to win the Wilson County and CNC, and hopefully make another trip to state.

2. How has playing for your father (Girard coach Brad Herlocker) gone? And the transition daily of going from player to daughter?

Playing for my dad has been awesome because he can tell me what I'm doing wrong without me taking it too personal, and I always know exactly what I need to work on. We can watch film and do stats together, so I can study the game. At times it can get frustrating because he expects more out of me than everyone else, but overall it's been a cool experience. Growing up he has coached all of us so it really isn't that big of a deal to anyone on the team. We are all one big family.

3. What are some of your favorite memories of playing basketball over the years?

Getting 3rd in the State as a freshman was an amazing experience, but by far my favorite moment in high school basketball was winning substate last year. No one expected us to win, so it was even better when we did! It was really a crazy season. Everyday I create new memories with my teammates that I know I'll have for the rest of my life. They are my best friends.

4. Do you have an routines that you go thru on game days or immediately before your games that help you prepare for action?

I really don't do anything special on game days. We all get a scouting report, so I'll read that the night before and memorize my defensive assignment. I pig out on snacks before we play, but that's really the only routine I have!

5. What are your interests and activities outside of basketball?

I like to hang out with my friends, and I read a ton! It's my favorite thing to do. On Saturday mornings I help out with the 1st and 2nd grade girls basketball program, and it's always a blast! I have developed a really close relationship with a lot of the kids and I hope I've influenced them to keep working hard in basketball.

6. What are your plans for after you graduate this spring?

I plan on playing basketball at PSU and hopefully getting into their Honors College, but I'm not sure what I'll major in yet.
